Maria Vicini (she/her)

Maria Vicini is an MS student studying Forest Sciences. Before she became a student, she worked as a field technician for the lab. Her research project will focus on bird habitat-associations in post-fire landscapes, and how habitat usage changes over time. Her research is focused primarily on ponderosa pine bird communities. 

 

Maria loves hiking around Colorado, running, hanging out with her pets, and spending time with friends and family. During field season, you can probably find in her natural habitat: eating her fourth Clif bar of the day on the way to another plot.
